Website Use

This website is provided for general informational and educational purposes. You may use the site and its content only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms & Conditions.

You may not use the website in a way that interferes with its operation, attempts to gain unauthorized access, infringes the rights of others, or violates applicable law.

No Professional Relationship

Using this website, downloading a resource, submitting a form, scheduling a discovery call, or contacting me does not by itself create a psychologist-client, consultant-client, or other professional relationship.

Any professional engagement is governed by separate agreements, proposals, contracts, informed-consent documents, or licensing terms, as applicable.

Educational Information, Not Individualized Advice

Content on this website is intended for general educational and informational purposes only.

It is not a substitute for individualized psychological, medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice.

Information related to psychology, workplace well-being, leadership, communication, motivation, or related topics should not be interpreted as diagnosis, treatment, or individualized clinical guidance.

Do not delay or disregard professional medical or mental health advice because of information provided on this website.

Any recommendations, strategies, or examples provided through this website are offered for educational purposes and do not guarantee a particular result; decisions about whether and how to apply them remain the responsibility of the individual or organization.

Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise noted, original content on this website and in associated materials is owned by Sarah Porter, PhD and protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Protected materials may include, without limitation:

  • written website content

  • the (EQ)uilibrium at Work® framework and associated branded materials

  • the SEA pillars and related descriptions, graphics, and applications

  • the (EQ)uilibrium at Work® Scorecard

  • assessments, questionnaires, worksheets, tools, exercises, and handouts

  • presentation slides and training materials

  • facilitator guides and instructional materials

  • graphics, diagrams, models, and visual representations

  • downloadable resources and other original materials

Access to this website or any resource does not transfer ownership of intellectual property or grant any rights beyond those expressly stated.

Trademarks, service marks, trade names, logos, and proprietary names may not be used in a manner that suggests affiliation, endorsement, ownership, or authorization without prior written permission.

Except for the limited permissions expressly stated in these Terms & Conditions or a separate written agreement, no license or other right to use my intellectual property is granted, whether expressly, by implication, or otherwise.

Permitted Use of Downloadable Resources

Unless a resource states otherwise, materials made available through this website may be used only for personal use or expressly permitted limited internal organizational use.

Permitted internal use means that an individual may use the resource within their organization for its intended purpose.

It does not grant permission to:

  • reproduce or distribute materials broadly within or outside an organization

  • copy materials into another survey, assessment, learning platform, workbook, presentation, or document

  • modify, adapt, translate, rebrand, or remove attribution

  • create derivative assessments, tools, programs, workshops, or training products

  • teach, facilitate, certify others in, or deliver the materials as your own

  • upload materials to an enterprise LMS, intranet, shared resource library, or other repository for repeated organizational use

  • sublicense, sell, license, publish, or commercially exploit the materials

  • use the materials to develop competing products, services, frameworks, assessments, or training

Any broader organizational, facilitation, training, reproduction, or licensing use requires prior written permission.

Scorecard Use

The (EQ)uilibrium at Work® Scorecard is provided as a proprietary educational and reflection tool.

Unless expressly authorized in writing, downloading or receiving the Scorecard does not permit an individual or organization to:

  • reproduce or redistribute the Scorecard

  • recreate its questions in another platform or format

  • modify its wording, scoring, structure, branding, or design

  • administer it as an internal organizational assessment beyond the expressly permitted scope

  • incorporate it into consulting, coaching, leadership development, human resources, training, or commercial programs

  • use it to create a derivative assessment or diagnostic tool

  • represent the Scorecard or its content as internally developed or owned

Authorized internal use is limited to the scope expressly stated on the Scorecard or in a separate written agreement.

Client and Organizational Materials

Materials provided as part of a paid engagement remain the intellectual property of Sarah Porter, PhD unless a written agreement expressly states otherwise.

Clients and participants may use materials for the purposes authorized in the applicable engagement agreement.

Purchase of a keynote, workshop, consulting engagement, or other service does not automatically grant permission to reproduce, distribute, record, adapt, facilitate, teach, sublicense, or reuse proprietary content throughout an organization.

Expanded internal-use, train-the-trainer, licensing, enterprise distribution, or reuse rights must be separately authorized in writing.

Recording and Reproduction

Unless expressly authorized in writing, presentations, workshops, training sessions, consulting sessions, and related materials may not be recorded, transcribed, reproduced, streamed, uploaded, distributed, or made available for later viewing or organizational reuse.

Permission to attend or participate in an engagement does not include permission to create a recording or reusable training asset.

Copyright and Attribution

Copyright notices, trademark symbols, author attribution, branding, and proprietary notices included on any material must remain intact.

Removal or alteration of such notices does not affect ownership of the underlying intellectual property.

They are provided for informational purposes and should not be interpreted as a guarantee that another individual, team, or organization will achieve the same results.

I may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of this website or its content at any time.

While reasonable efforts are made to maintain a functional and secure website, uninterrupted or error-free access cannot be guaranteed.
