Consulting

Fresh thinking for complex workplace challenges.

When I partner with organizations to solve their most entrenched workplace and culture challenges, I draw on applied psychology, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of what actually moves ideas through implementation.

Organizational Challenges I Help Solve

Less friction. More momentum.

I help organizations tackle the human factors that are the tipping point between workplace cultures that get by and those that bring out the best in leaders and teams.

The Lens I Bring

To strengthen your systems, start with your people.

I am a process thinker who balances empathy and strategy, always training my eye on how people and structures interact when things go sideways at work. I quickly unpack the dynamics underlying thorny challenges, devise a psychologically informed action plan, and anticipate roadblocks to help ensure that solutions are built to last.

My goal as a consultant is always the same:
to leave organizations better than I found them.

Partnering for Impact

A longer arc for lasting change.

Sometimes the right solution is a single well-timed keynote or workshop. Other challenges call for a longer engagement, combining learning, conversation, consultation, and reinforcement to support meaningful outcomes over time.

Before recommending a solution, P.I. Porter gets to work. I ask the right questions and listen carefully to your answers (including what isn’t said) to understand your context, determine what’s driving the challenge, and suss out what a slam-dunk would look like.

In practice:
Stakeholder interviews, existing data review, context mapping, needs analysis, focus group facilitation, and success metric definition

DESIGN THE RIGHT RESPONSE

There’s no one-size-fits-all playbook for people problems. I develop a bespoke plan of experiences and resources customized to your unique goals and audience. This may mean one focused intervention or a series of touchpoints that build on one another.

In practice:
Keynote and workshop series, executive advising, one-on-one and group consultation, program design, and shared frameworks

Too many projects end with spiffy deliverables that talk the talk but fail to walk the walk. Drawing on my expertise in behavioral change, I build supports to keep the conversation going, encourage skills adoption, and show which ideas take hold over time.

In practice:
Kirkpatrick Model-aligned measures, pulse checks, office hours, team guides, reflection prompts, skills checklists, and reinforcement tools
